A Zambian young man identified as Mpanjilwa Mulwanda hanged himself on July 24. His death is currently trending on Zambia Social Media.
      According to multiple Facebook sources, during a chat with his friends on Friday, July 21, he made it known that he was going to take his life but they all laughed it off. Infact some even encouraged him  to do it
      “I never knew Mpanjilwa Mulwanda personally but after learning what transpired, seemed he mentioned taking his life to his friends who took it as a joke & probably never talked him out as much as they should have. I know how friendship is but anyway, one thing this has personally taught me is we should learn to encourage love amongst ourselves.
You never know what people are going through & just a few encouraging words from you could be what would stop someone from doing something unimaginable, we really need more wise & encouraging people for a better tomorrow . It’s so unfortunate the brother is gone & nothing can be done about that but we can definitely avoid more incidents like this by loving one another more than expressing hate all in trying to seem like a star. R.I.P Mpanjilwa”

A 16-year old girl who was a victim of s3.xual abuse has made a shocking confession, saying that she cannot do without having s.ex with men daily.

She narrated how an old man, who was their neighbour at Mile 12, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, lured her into s3x at seven and since then she cannot resist having se.x everyday.

The pupil said if she did not see any man to have se.x with her in her area, she would go to a popular under bridge at Mile 12 Lagos and beg for s.ex from touts.

She said she came from Enugu state to Lagos to live with her aunt after the death of her father.
Her case has become so serious that she had to be referred to an NGO, Community Health Support and Empowerment Initiative, COHSAEI, which has taken up the challenge to rehabilitate her.

The little girl said she was lured into s3x by a man she called Baba who lived with her aunt in the same compound.

She said the man (Baba) usually called her to his apartment whenever his wife and her aunt were not around and will put his finger inside her pr!v*te part.

“He will tell me to come back home immediately our school closes and when I reach home he will be waiting for me to finger my honeypot,” she narrated.

She said with time he started having real s3.x with her.

She said when the man that initiated her into it moved out of their area, she resorted to meeting other men in the area without her aunt knowing.

She said she has become addicted to s.3x and cannot do without it.

“When I desire s.ex and I do not see anybody to do it in my area, I will go under the bridge and beg the touts to do it for me,” she said.

Her predicament came when she confessed to her teacher what she was going through after the teacher noticed some abnormal behaviour in her. The teacher contacted her aunt who contacted an NGO for assistance.

The programme coordinator of the NGO, Mrs. Priscilla Ingbia, noted that her case was very pathetic because of her age. She said her group took up the challenge to rehabilitate her because it was clear if nothing was done urgently her future was in danger.

   Zylofon Media has made known its intention to finance movie producers to put out the very best of productions to boost the industry and also enable them cross the borders of Ghana.

At a press conference organized to unveil the new signees of the firm on 30th June, Mr. Enoch Atakora, Head of Productions, Zylofon Media told the gathering that, one of the topmost objective of the company is to sponsor movie productions in Ghana and also to collaborate with all production houses. This he said will not only improve the kind of movies produced locally but will help Ghana compete effectively on the international market.

Enoch asserted that by sponsoring these movies, the faces of Zylofon (Zylofon satrs) get to be considered as first choice casts for those particular movies.

He went ahead to list
   Toosweet Annan, Zynell Zuh, Bibi Bright, Benedicta Gafah and James Gardiner as the first batch of actors the label has signed.
  Mr. Enoch Atakora stated that Zylofon has a three year contract with these actors, however they are free to undertake their individual projects.

As part of the signing package, there are strategic measures put in place to manage and lobby for gigs for the signed actors.

Sammy Flex, Public Relations Officer, Zylofon Media revealed to the press that, not only is it the agenda of the company to invest in music but also to produce movies. He stated that a lot of fortunes are being made out of movies although most people are of the view that, the movie market no more exists.

He also said that as it stands Zylofon is not signing on musicians till further notice as it is channeling some of its resources to the movie industry.

2. Have A Unique Selling Point If You Want To Become A Famous Singer

    A unique selling point
USP for short, is a way to differentiate yourself from the crowd. You don’t want to be doing the same thing as every other singer out there; if you are, what’s going to make people buy into you over the others?
   Your USP doesn’t have to be anything big, but it has to be noticeable. It could be that you structure your songs differently, that you have a voice that’s different from the norm, or simply that you do what you do at a much higher level than everyone else. Yes, that in itself is a unique selling point, as people will see they can only get the best by being a fan of yours.

If you don’t already have a USP, you may want to think about creating one. Once you do, make sure it’s clear to people what it is. Sometimes it will be tangible, but other times you will have to drop it into the conversation via interview or on your website, etc.
         Don’t say “My USP is”, instead say “I like to do *this* which I don’t think is something fans get anywhere else”. This will help make you sound like you’re thinking of them, and also put the idea in their mind that you stand out in some way. This is an important step if you want to be a well-known singer.

3. Market Yourself As A Singer

If you want to become a famous singer, you will need to learn how to market yourself. That, or you will need someone to market for you.
