In his return from a two-year retirement, Floyd Mayweather improved to 50-0 with a 10th-round TKO over an incredibly game Conor McGregor in their pay-per-view superfight at T-Mobile Arena. McGregor, 29, who was making his debut as a boxer, never fought recklessly or overly aggressively, in contrast to his prediction of a first-round knockout. What he did was present Mayweather with a poised and credible challenge, teasing a bright future in the boxing game should he consider it.
"He's a lot better than I thought he was," Mayweather said. "He used different angles. He was a tough competitor, but I was the better man tonight.
"We talked about how he's a tough competitor, and I think we gave the fans what they wanted to see. I chose a hell of a dance partner to dance with. Conor McGregor, you are a hell of a champion."

Mayweather, who officially announced his retirement after the fight, was true to his prediction throughout the fight's build when he promised it wouldn't go the distance. He also stuck to his guns about standing in front of McGregor looking for a finish.
After a slow start in which Mayweather gave away the first three rounds in order to pick up McGregor's rhythms, the former pound-for-pound king began his attack.

Mayweather outlanded McGregor, 170 to 111, according to CompuBox, and landed 58 percent of his power shots. From Rounds 6-10, Mayweather outlanded his opponent by a count of 130-60.
At the time of the stoppage, Mayweather led on all three judges' scorecards (87-83, 89-82, 89-81).

Although McGregor's punching power began to fade along with his stamina, he stayed in the fight throughout the middle rounds by using activity and slap punches. He also did well to sneak in shots from the clinch without becoming too dirty.
In the end, McGregor never fought too far outside of boxing rules, which many had expected he would try once things got bad. Byrd gave both fighters a lengthy warning during the final seconds before the opening bell and was consistent in the amount of time he gave both fighters to work in the clinch before breaking them up. Byrd warned McGregor for rabbit punching twice -- and both fighters for pushing -- but never was in a position where a deduction was needed.
For all of the pre-fight predictions about McGregor struggling as a novice, the MMA star showed good technique and an overall respect for the sweet science. He also forced Mayweather to fight and avoided a one-sided performance in defeat that nearly all critics predicted.
"I thought I took the early rounds pretty easy," McGregor said. "He's composed. He's not that fast, he's not that powerful, but boy, is he composed.
"I turned [Mayweather] into a Mexican tonight. He fought like a Mexican."
Mayweather, in his first fight since outpointing Andre Berto in September 2015, eclipsed the revered 49-0 mark of Rocky Marciano, who retired as unbeaten heavyweight champion.

      According to multiple Facebook sources, during a chat with his friends on Friday, July 21, he made it known that he was going to take his life but they all laughed it off. Infact some even encouraged him  to do it

I know how friendship is but anyway, one thing this has personally taught me is we should learn to encourage love amongst ourselves.
You never know what people are going through & just a few encouraging words from you could be what would stop someone from doing something unimaginable, we really need more wise & encouraging people for a better tomorrow . A 16-year old girl who was a victim of s3.xual abuse has made a shocking confession, saying that she cannot do without having s.ex with men daily.

She narrated how an old man, who was their neighbour at Mile 12, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, lured her into s3x at seven and since then she cannot resist having se.x everyday.

The pupil said if she did not see any man to have se.x with her in her area, she would go to a popular under bridge at Mile 12 Lagos and beg for s.ex from touts.

She said she came from Enugu state to Lagos to live with her aunt after the death of her father.
Her case has become so serious that she had to be referred to an NGO, Community Health Support and Empowerment Initiative, COHSAEI, which has taken up the challenge to rehabilitate her.

The little girl said she was lured into s3x by a man she called Baba who lived with her aunt in the same compound.

She said the man (Baba) usually called her to his apartment whenever his wife and her aunt were not around and will put his finger inside her pr!v*te part.

“He will tell me to come back home immediately our school closes and when I reach home he will be waiting for me to finger my honeypot,” she narrated.

She said with time he started having real s3.x with her.

She said when the man that initiated her into it moved out of their area, she resorted to meeting other men in the area without her aunt knowing.

She said she has become addicted to s.3x and cannot do without it.

“When I desire s.ex and I do not see anybody to do it in my area, I will go under the bridge and beg the touts to do it for me,” she said.

Her predicament came when she confessed to her teacher what she was going through after the teacher noticed some abnormal behaviour in her. The teacher contacted her aunt who contacted an NGO for assistance.

The programme coordinator of the NGO, Mrs. Priscilla Ingbia, noted that her case was very pathetic because of her age. She said her group took up the challenge to rehabilitate her because it was clear if nothing was done urgently her future was in danger.

This he said will not only improve the kind of movies produced locally but will help Ghana compete effectively on the international market.

Enoch asserted that by sponsoring these movies, the faces of Zylofon (Zylofon satrs) get to be considered as first choice casts for those particular movies.

He went ahead to list
   Toosweet Annan, Zynell Zuh, Bibi Bright, Benedicta Gafah and James Gardiner as the first batch of actors the label has signed.

    A unique selling point
USP for short, is a way to differentiate yourself from the crowd. You don’t want to be doing the same thing as every other singer out there; if you are, what’s going to make people buy into you over the others?
   Your USP doesn’t have to be anything big, but it has to be noticeable. It could be that you structure your songs differently, that you have a voice that’s different from the norm, or simply that you do what you do at a much higher level than everyone else. Yes, that in itself is a unique selling point, as people will see they can only get the best by being a fan of yours.

If you don’t already have a USP, you may want to think about creating one. Once you do, make sure it’s clear to people what it is. Sometimes it will be tangible, but other times you will have to drop it into the conversation via interview or on your website, etc.
         Don’t say “My USP is”, instead say “I like to do *this* which I don’t think is something fans get anywhere else”. There are too many dated articles out there which talk about promoting your music. Many of them simply share old information which didn’t work that well at it’s peak. Many of them give smaller results than they’re worth.

Today though, I’m going to cover 2 things you can do to better promote your music. Marketing your music is essential if you want to get your name out there and actually start making money from your talent, so if these are some of your aims, be sure to read and implement as much of this guide as humanly possible. In other words, all of it.

And if you find it useful, please share it with friends or talk about it on your website. So, let’s get into the promotion tips.

1. Market Yourself As A Business To Business Musician

Ok, so here’s a huge tip I can give you:

Instead of focusing all of your efforts on reaching out to all your fans individually, focus a lot more of your efforts on building up good relationships with other businesses!

So I know some of you will be wondering what I mean by this. What I mean is that you should spend a good portion of your time contacting event organizers, radio stations, websites that cover your genre of music in some way, TV channels, DJs, musicians who are more established than you, and the like.

What do all of the above have in common? They have a much bigger audience than you, and within their audiences are people who will fit into your ideal fan base!

While a lot of musicians spend lots of time grinding it out trying to make new fans one by one, more successful and full time musicians often spend more time building up relationships with people who can get their music out there better than they can. The thing is, if you get in good with bigger companies and they recommend you to their audience, you’ll get a lot more exposure from that one article / event / show / interview than you would from spending a month on Facebook and Twitter trying to get new fans from scratch. That’s why it’s worth investing time and effort into forming these kinds of relationships.

Now I’m not saying don’t market to fans individually. You should, but usually only once they’re already on your social sites and mailing list. In terms of actually getting people to hear you the first time around, getting other established businesses to promote you is one of the best ways to go about doing this. So switch your target audience and start focusing more of your efforts on other businesses. And remember, as a musician, you are a business!

2. Focus A Good Portion Of Your Time On Gigging

I don't know your full situation but i'll explain a few reasons why people don't respect others.

...Respect usually comes to those who have self respect.

People give off non-verbal signals that are an indication that they are relatively weak and unresistant to a person walking on them. They have a body language and posture that is closed, and some people see this and choose to take advantage.

Often when one person is being disrespected there are others who will join in. If you think of school where one person cops the majority of trouble from people, and then in no time everyone is joining to harass and abuse.

Sometimes people have such a low self esteem level that they get satisfaction from disrespecting others.

There's a solution to this and if a person is being disrespected they need to be assertive. Assertiveness helps a person to stand up for themselves to offer resistance to disrespectful people. If there's no resistance then the behaviour will usually continue.
      There are multiple strategies to offer resistance such as humour, using assertive language, and setting boundaries. It's when there's no form of resistance offered that the problem usually persists.

Do not allow those things that matter the most in your life be at the mercy of activities that matter the least.
    Every day, take the time to ask yourself the question "

Be honest with yourself here. This will show you how best to manage your time, especially if you find yourself upset at spending so much time in one area of your life.
